Yes, of course. However, if you're running out of space, may I recommend you
purchase a new hard drive? They're not expensive these days (a 160GB IDE
(PATA) drive can be had for around £60 if you know where to look).

You may also get rid of your Hibernation File by opting not Hibernate.
Further, your System Restore can be set to the minimum if it is not already
set that way.
Empty the Recycle Bin.
Any documents you rarely access may be copied to CD-ROM (make 2 separate
copies) and deleted after you check the CD to make sure the copy was good.

Yes you can but before you do so, you might want to make sure you can
reinstall it if at some future point you want or need its applications.
Understand, Office 2003 is not a part of Windows XP even though it may have
come pre-installed on your system. If that was the case, the bundle was
provided by the system builder. Make sure you have the Office CDs or if it
is incorporated into some recovery image the manufacturer has provided.
Many systems only come with a recovery partition or a CD with the complete
image of the system fresh from the factory.

In such cases, there's no individual install, it's all or nothing. Hence,
you should check your documentation or with the system manufacturer's tech
support as to whether or not Office can be reinstalled if you need it in the
future and how to go about doing so.

Hi, Rich,
Hibernation file: Look up in Help and Support
System Restore: Look up in Help and Support
Add/Remove programs will not apply to my advice.
