office 2003 student and teachers edition

Ihave installed office 2003 but I cannot open outlook. A window appears
stating; cannot start microsoft office outlook,unable to open the outlook
window the set of folders could not be opened,the server is not available
contact your administrator if this problem persists. All other programmes on
this edition is not affected. Can any body offer a solution please.

Sounds like you haven't properly your mail profile. Recreate it with the
correct settings in Control Panel-> Mail
