Office 2003 SP1

After installing Office 2003 SP1, we have problems trying
to send documents as attachments. We receieve an
operation failed error message. The problem seems to be
related to the Outlook process staying open even after
closing Outlook and waiting for a about 20 seconds. If
you end the Outlook.exe process and reopen Outlook you
can then send a document as an attachment, but you will
be lucky if you can send more then 1 document. Any body
have any ideas what might be causing this problem?
 
Sounds like an add-in at first. See if it works in safe mode;
Start-> Run; "path to outlook.exe" /safe
