I'll try to describe this the best I can,

First I'm running outlook 2003 with the service pack on windows xp sp2.
Windows firewall is turned off as is my antivirus software is disabled
while trying to get this to work (I even uninstalled it)

I have two email accounts set up correctly (Two of my other co workers
have the same exact set up and email accounts and they have no issues)
on the same server i.e. (e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed).

When the send and recieve function is activated, the non default email
account gets a recieve error as below

Task 'EMAIL ACCOUNT - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

What is interesting is if i delete both accounts and add them back in
reverse order, the account that was not working before is now working
correctly.

I have wracked my brain all day and searched all over the net for a
solution. If anyone has any ideas that would be greatly appreciated.

Are they both referencing the same outgoing server using the same
username/password for that server? If so, perhaps it's a locking issue on
the server account they're referencing because Outlook will attempt to
access that account simultaneously on both servers.

it is different usernames and passwords, but both email accounts are on
the same server. Which is confusing is that my co workers have it set
up with no problems, I am at a loss why this is happening. All
configurations should be correct.
