Outlook 2003 Recieve error with 2 pop3 email accounts from same server

I'll try to describe this the best I can,

First I'm running outlook 2003 with the service pack on windows xp sp2.

Windows firewall is turned off as is my antivirus software is disabled

while trying to get this to work (I even uninstalled it)

I have two email accounts set up correctly (Two of my other co workers
have the same exact set up and email accounts and they have no issues)
on the same server i.e. (e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed).

When the send and recieve function is activated, the non default email
account gets a recieve error as below

Task 'EMAIL ACCOUNT - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

What is interesting is if i delete both accounts and add them back in
reverse order, the account that was not working before is now working
correctly.

I have wracked my brain all day and searched all over the net for a
solution. If anyone has any ideas that would be greatly appreciated

One more thing i forgot to mention, if i send and recieve seperately
i.e. go to the send recieve menu and choose only one account at a time
they work perfectly fine. I am getting all my emails, just the error
dialog box pops up all day long and it is annoying.

Check your server timeout settings...they may not be long enough.

Go to tools -> email accounts -> change -> more settings -> advanced

I set mine at 5 minutes.

Nope, didn't work i adjusted my time out to 6 minutes. When running
the send/recieve it immediately displays the error when it gets to the
2nd email account recieve function.

This "may" help http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=813514 also as a long
shot I am wondering if you have a damaged "srs" file, this file is
responsible for the send/receive group you could try renaming this file to
"old" with Outlook closed and it will get recreated when you start Outlook,
Note Your send/receive groups will get wiped.

I did visit that site and none of the criteria they listed appears to
have any difference on the error. I even created a brand new profile
and set up the email accoutns from scratch so the srs file couldn't be
corrupted.

I am on a domain, but so are my co workers, if i switch to my local pc
account it works fine. But my coworkers areon the domain with no
issues.
