office 2000

I have recently started using vista, will office 2000 work on this format?
 
I have been trying for several days and cannot get office 2000 pro to install
on Vista.
 
What is the error. Where is the install failing. I was not able to load the
second disk of Professional but the first installed fine.
 
I only had a Professional upgrade disk. In installed MS Works 2.0 and then
upgraded to Office 2000 Professional. After that Outlook, Word, Excel, and
Powerpoint worked fine.
