office 2000 cannot be removed

Hi all. I have 1 pc which was installed with office 2000. Later on office
2003 was installed on this pc. Everything was fine until recently there is an
error message that kept prompting for office 2000 cd every now and then. I
tried to remove office 2000 from add/remove program but it prompt for the
office 2000 cd again. We lost the cd and hence i use registry to search for
office 2000 and remove any entry found. I manage to remove office 2000 and
the pc looks fine without the message prompting for office 2000 cd until this
morning it prompt for the cd again. Is there any tool i can use to
permanently remove office 2000? Thks in advance.

You could run msicuu2.exe

would have an answer for you.
