Offer remote assistance without a domain

Thank you. So it is impossible to click "Offer remote assistance" write IP of
another XP pro and connect it in a workgroup. Right?
 
That's correct. The "Offer" functionality is only available for users in a domain or trusted domain
environment and not for users in a workgroup environment.
