Off Topic First look Office 2010

In a different list many people expressed that they have difficulties in
down loading the ebook "Firstlook Office 2010" published by Microsoft. I was
able to get it, of course with some difficulty.

For the benefit of others....I have uploaded the same to yousendit. Here is
the link.

Those who want it may download it.

It will be there there for 7 more days only

Althought labeled as off topic, I would be wary of anything that's offered as
only being there for 7 more days, seems like a way of appealing to ones sense
of emergency and downloading something nasty, who knows what this link
actually contains. with a hint of helping others to mask the caution one
should use.

7 more days is yousendit's limitation, not the book he's talking about.
That said, there is still no way to know what a new, unknown web site is
going to provide. This actually looks more like a way to drive visitors to
a site than any assistance to anyone. IF it's a real article, it'll be
available in a gazillion other places too, and so will problams downloading
it if that's true.
Something just smells fishy there.

The source page could be this one. It's just advertising
material, so there is plenty of time to get it later. You'd
think the marketing team would have placed a grainy video on
Youtube.

The download file would have come from here, but this is broken. Some 60KB
thing downloads instead.

There are other sources of inspiration though. Makes me wanna reach
for my copy of OpenOffice :-)
