My brother created a business card for me and emailed it
as an attachment. It will not open. I am getting a
message, 'OE removed access to the following
attachments....' It is a .pub extension. Pub is not on
the list of extensions detailed in the blockedattachment
faq.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

First thing to check is under tools and options. Choose the security tab and make sure there is no check mark in front of : block attachments that may potentially harm or contain a virus. If that isn't it, a change in the registry is needed because there is level 1 and 2 security for attachments.

Hit forward, then save the attachment :)

It's a new security feature to prevent accidental opening of viruses, either
by yourself or scripting. you can disable it in tools | options | security,
but I think the extra effort to hit forward is safer and well worth the
extra click.
