Recently I have been noticing text in my posted messages
under Organisation
"Silent patient spider"

Anybody know how this happens, and how I may remove it please?
Have I been hacked?
Thank you.

What mail client are you using ? In OE, click Tools, Accounts -
select your newserver and then click Properties. The General
(TAB) will open and you'll find the settings for Organization,
reply to Address and other setup data.

Thank you Mr. McCarty.
yes, all of my "organisation" properties are blank.
It seems the text is added after the post leaves me and passes through a
server.
I am using "Motzarella" news service.
Thanks for replying to me.

"Silent patient spider" is added by the Motzarella service.
;-)

Thankyou Fred W,
I must say, I am not keen on that.
Have you any idea what that means?
Thanks for replying.

Ask Motzarella Support abou it.

I read somewhere that if you post through Mozilla and you don't have an
"organization" header set in your newsreader, Mozilla automatically makes "A
Noiseless Patient Spider" your organization. It is from Walt Whitman's
"Leaves of Grass" collection.

Ah, yes. Bill Clinton's favorite gift to impressionable females.

Makes sense.
