OE Old Msg Transfer

I had to install a new HD since WinXPpro would not start up on old HD (sys32
file corrupted and a new reinstall would NOT TAKE soooo I moved my old C
harddisk to a slave drive). Then I installed XPpro on the new HD. Now, I
cannot find the old Outlook Express emails anywhere on my former C HD !

Please MSFT ......... tell me where those old OE files both compressed and
non-compressed are HIDDEN on that old HD???

Thanks

Welcome to the PEER to PEER newsgroups. Although some Microsoft Employees
might come by on occassion and throw an answer or two into the mix - this is
a volunteer based newsgroup.

Outlook Express files are located:

DRIVELETTER:\Documents and Settings\<your_old_username>\Local
Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{XXXXXX##-X##X-####-XX#X-XX#XX#XX#XX#}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express

Good luck.
If you cannot access it - you will have to take ownership of the
files/folders...

Read *carefully* - do not just skim the page and start following steps.
There is important information there dependent on the version of Windows XP
you have.
