does anyone know if Outlook Express has a maximum file size it can receive?

I am trying to receive a file of about 15m, something I am sure I have done
before.

I have spoken to my s.p (wanadoo) and they say that they have not capped
anything on my account.........

or does anyone know how I can receive such a file via any other method.

Phil,

OE doesn't have any limitations on how large the email file (wiht
attachments) it can receive. Just make sure that you change the auto email
checking time (Tools > options > generals tab) is set to more than 10 mins.
For mine, when I have it set to 2 mins and while receiving 10MB emails, my
email connection will always get errors.

If downloading still doesn't work, download it from your webmail account
(web based email account).

Hope this helps.

OE does not have a limit however a lot of ISPs cap receiving and sending
size. This is usually 10M each.

Outlook Express has no limit, but most ISPs do. They may not have
capped anything on *your* account, but they probably have a
message size limit on all accounts. In my experience, most ISPs
usually have a limit somewhere around the 5-10MB range, and
you're well above that.

The file will be 20m after it is encoded.
If you download the file from a Web site or a server, the size will be 15m.
