OE dilemma

I sent myself a test email with embedded
pictures as well as an attached picture, and they all
came in just fine. Although when I send email here (my
home) from work or from friends, the embedded pictures
are still not coming in, although the other computer here
at home receives everything just fine (same OS, same ISP,
etc.) We use XP Professional, Road Runner.
Any ideas?

I'd like to understand why embedded pictures are not
showing up in received email (using Outlook Express), XP

There are a few possibilities. Some are on the sender's end, and some
may be on your end.

You could also try posting to the OE specific newsgroup, instead of

Thank you for your help.
I downloaded and tried the image registry fix supplied,
but I won't know if it worked until someone sends me an
email w/embedded pictures.
And I appreciate the link to the OE newsgroup, I didn't
see one when I looked for and found this newsgroup.
