I am the only one using the computer, I haven't even enabled the guest
account yet. I have a CD writer, and DVD writer and a DVD player on my
computer. I usually use the DVD writer, using a separate application to burn
discs. But, I am wondering why I am unable to select the "send to" option to
add a file to my DVD. I am given the option of selecting only the drive that
my DVD burner is on, and is states CD Drive (D:) , but if I select it I get a
message that states that "windows has encountered a problem trying to copy
this file" If I put a disc into the drive that my CD burner is on, I am
again given only one option of drives, this time is still states the (D:)
drive, but lists it as DVD-RAM Drive. I only have DVD's so I don't know how
it responds if a CD is used instead. I don't understand. Is windows xp only
set up to write to a CD Writer Drive or set up to only burn CD's. Can it be
changed to send to either drive and if so how or is it just the media type,
in this case DVD's, thats the problem?

Thanks

The "Send to" option in XP uses XP's native burning function which
doesn't support DVDs.....
