Obsolete drivers

I tried to install Adaptec Easy CD Creator on my system.
However the following drivers are obsolete: cdralw2k.sys
and cdr4_2k.sys. Windows has disabled them so my system
works ok. However each time I boot, I get this anoying
message telling me about them. These drivers reside in:
windows/system32/drivers/. My question is, can I go to
that directory and simply delete these drivers without
damaging my system?

To tidy up, get a registry patch file, cdgone.reg, from
www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click on it and merge
it into the registry

You will then need to reinstall any burning software that you *do* use.
