Objects on forms

Although not technically a coding question, but is it possible to draw
circles on a form, or just squares (rectangles)

I don't know about circles, but there is a rectangle tool on
your design toolbar (bottom left if it floating). You can
adjust the border formatting for colors and widths, etc...
