colored circles on form

I would like to be able to use VB to change the background colors in circles
on a form. I can do this with rectangles, but can't find a "circle object"
to place on the form that allows background color changes. And I have used
the Drawing toolbar in Excel along with Copy/Paste to get a circle image on
the form, but can't change the fill color of just the circle (background
references the square behind/around the circle, not the circle itself). Any
thoughts?

Here is a round-about you might consider. Create colored circles using Paint
and same. Bring them in an set border and background to transparent. Stack
one on top of the other and change visible property as needed.

Definitely a consideration, although I'm trying to make this something that
the user can add new colors easily and there are currently 28 circles - each
one with 6 possible colors.

I'm working now on using webdings or wingdings or something like that and
changing fore color. I thought I had a "circle" character (webdings,
lowercase n), but in Form view I ended up with a pirate! Continuing the
search . . .

Found it! The = in webdings produces a circle. Have to put it in the text
box as ="=" or it produces an expected error, but it works wonderfully for my
purpose.
