How do I find out if an nvidia GeForce MX400 hardware supports
acceleration for MPEG2 decoding?

Can I switch such a feature on in Win XP?

If the nVidia does NOT support such MPeg acceleration - how do I find a
card that does?

As you can see I know nothing about such technology and the question
has been "spawned" from another thread in a "Video technology" news
group.

The MX400 does support decoding if you have an application that will use the
card's hardware. If you've installed the full set of drivers for the board
and then installed your video application then it should be pretty much
automatic.
