What display are you referring to? The NVIDIA window from display properties
Is your MoBo capable of AGP 8X? to see read the MoBO manual, or go into your BIOS settings
the "AGP Mode" is usually find in "AGP & P2P Bridge Control," within the "Advanced Chipset Feautres.
The options you see is what the Motherboard is capable of. XP doesn't control the AGP speed, your chipset on the motherboard does. If you don't have 8X, but you do have 4X change it to that option
