Nvidia Folder

I have a nvidia folder in c: which consists of every single driver i install.
So it's got the files of the factory driver which was installed (52.16) till
the latest (66.93). Is it safe to delete the previous driver files? My 56.72
driver files are in the folder nvidia itself, not in a seperate folder
itself, like the driver files for 66.93 are in the folder
c:--->NVIDIA--->Win2KXP----->66.93 where as 56.72 driver files are in the
folder c:---->NVIDIA
Is it safe to delete all the files and folders other than 66.93?

I suggest the next time you download drivers before you expand them you create a
subdirectory under NVIDIA and name it after the new drivers.then expand them
into that subdirectory. That way you know where they are (old and new) in case
you need to roll back.

You can delete the whole c:\NVIDIA folder, including the latest driver
set, with no harm: it is only the installation folder, and is not using
after installation is finished (i.e. you can consider it as the NVIDIA
drivers backup folder).

Delete the whole folder. The drivers are just unzipped there, they don't
run from there.

Yes you can delete the entire folder or just its contents with no harm. One
tip regarding video drivers though is to completely wipe out your old drivers
before installing the new ones. A lot of times the old drivers leave
fragments of itself which could slighty decrease performance. There is a
program called "driver cleaner" which will do this but you can always just
delete the driver from Add/Remove programs, reboot and load the generic
driver, then install your new one. I have an ATI card and ATI offers its own
driver cleaner program, I bet Nvidia has something similar
