usually after installing the latest drivers from Nvidia...i have no problems. this time after installing the 56.72 driver, i went to the dxdiag and tested directdraw. It was working fine..but when the computer went full screen...everything was blank. I tried to also test my xp 3d screen saver. Same thing happened, the screen was all blank. This also happens when i go play games. I used driver cleaner and reinstalled the driver. but nothing happens i cannot ctrl alt del my way out of these situations. i even reinstalled directx 9.b (that was before installing the driver) but still...nothing worked. Please HELP

thank you for your time

If that driver doesn't play nice with your system configuration, and the
previous one that you used worked fine, then roll back to the previous
driver. Just because a newer version of a driver is available doesn't mean
that one should update. Unless you were having problems with the older
driver, or the newer driver has features which you need and which the older
driver didn't have, there's no reason to update. Rule of thumb: If your
system is running fine, don't update drivers. It's asking for trouble.
