NUMEROUS critical udate notices for the SAME one!

Windows 98SE on here. I even looked on the download history and it says the
1KB update is completed. Then I looked in my download mgr. and can see that
it was downloaded more than once. Ea. download of course was a "restart"
afterwards.

Plus evr'y time I go to the critical update site the first thing on the
screen is a pop-up..................

Any light shed on this more than triplication of the same thing?

Frank, How do I STOP this notification of the SAME download? Yes I've seen it in the history many many times, as well as in my own download mgr. If it's on here why does it keep reminding me? I go there and it's OLD from a year ago. Thankyou for you comment.
