Numbers Import as Decimal not Original

Hi,

I have an ODBC link into the back of an Oracle DB, I use this to run
reports, when importing certain numeric fields they come out as
281478636699745 and sometimes with a +E in amongst it, these fields should
read 1 0r 2 etc, is there any way of converting these numbers back to what
they should read, I am using an access back end to run the query through into
a make table query.
