NTVDM.exe & KB 841559 Hotfix

I think I have the problem described in KB 841559. I try to run a
development app and get the following error:

NTVDM.EXE - Application Error
Instruction at 0x77f581bd referenced memory at 0x056000a2.
The memory could not be "written"
Click OK to terminate.

Windows XP Pro

Can someone tell me a phone number to call and get this hotfix? MS seems to
have a zillion phone numbers and I'd rather not waste any more time than
absolutely necessary.

Nevermind... All that was required was to change my default printer from a
network printer to a local one.
