Please help! I had some nasty malware issues I was trying to deal with, and I
ran Webroot Spysweeper. The program detected and attempted to remove 4 items:
Haxdoor, TIBS Dialer, CoolWebSearch, and Instant Access. It popped up a
message that said something about one of the items running in memory when it
was removed, with the recommendation to restart the system.
When I restarted, an error message poped up as Windows XP is loading. Here's
the full text of the error message:
SAS Window: Winlogon.exe -- Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f581bd" referenced memory at "0x0070803c". The
memory could not be "written." Click on "ok" to terminate the program.
Clicking on "ok" restarts the system, and the same error message returns. I
have to kill power to the sytem to break the cycle.
I'll be eternally grateful if anyone can help me fix this.
