This is the error that I get when I try to run some programs on my computer:
Application popup: winlogon.exe - Application Error : The instruction at
"0x77ed6f9c" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be
"written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

When I go into the event veiwer log, thats what i get...It will ask me if I
want to debug the program that i am trying to run or to abort it. I need
some help so if anyone knows will you please let me know???

Go to start/run, and type:
msconfig

The "Expand File" button will let you replace winlogon.exe. (You will need
the original media used to install XP.)
