svchost.exe - Application Error

C

At start up I get an error message:
The instruction at "0x00b32a50" referenced memory at "0x00b32a50" could not
be written. Click OK to terminate / Click CANCEL to debug.

It does not do anything whether I click OK or CANCEL...

What causes this and how do I fix it?

What causes it is a corrupted/damages/improperly installed program that
is trying to start as Windows loads. You need to determine which
specific application that is, and either remove or repair it.
