I am switching out a HDD on my computer and want to move
the files from the Win XP partition (the old HDD has 2
partitions and I only want the information from the
partition with Win XP OS) to a new Western Digital HDD. I
used Western Digital's software and all the information
seemed to copy over fine, but now i get a "NTLDR missing"
when I try to boot from the new drive. I've tryed to use
the XP CD console to repair, but have yet to strike upon
what I need to do to correct it (MBR, etc). Any
suggestions??

No matter where XP is installed, it shares common startup files on the root
of C: If you swapped out the C: drive or changed its position, you get
that error message. The only way to fix this is to reinstall XP.

How about ghosting?
