Most of the time, when "NTLDR is missing", it really is not missing at all.
It's right where it's supposed to be, but C:\boot.ini is pointing to where
it USED to be. Several things can cause this, usually adding, removing or
otherwise changing a drive or partition in your hardware lineup. Booting
from a different drive can confuse things. And, Bob, moving a drive to a
different computer can definitely screw things up; moving it from WinXP to
Win2K complicates the problem even more!
As a start, read this TechNet article, then search the KB for "NTLDR +
missing" for plenty more. When you've narrowed down your problem, post back
for further guidance. In that post, give some more details. Remember, we
can't even see your computer; all we know about it is what you tell us. So
far, that's not much. :>(
