ntldr is missing

I am trying to move a system disk OS xp pro to a different pc (2000server)
when booting I get "ntldr is missing"
can anyone help please?

First of all boot your system from the xp cd, than
choose to repair option than choose repair manually, it
will start a recovery console,than it will ask you wich
drive you want to repair, you choose the root, than you
type administrator than your passw, and you'll be on the
root, you go on the cd drive ( assuming your cd drive is
d:\)than you type in "d:\copy ntldr c:\" than "fixmbr"
than you reboot and you should be back on track.
