NTLDR is missing Error

When booting my system up, i come across the "NTLDR
is missing" error and it tells me to reboot. I've looked
on microsoft website for any solution but i found that the
solution they gave out was if you updated from a older
version of window to window xp. But, i never had an older
version on my pc, because the first OS i had on my pc is
Window xp Prof.
I searched google for the error and came up with
other solution, such as to reinstall window XP. So i did
but then during Window Xp setup i get a message saying
that ACPI.SYS is corrupted. And now i am stuck on that.
I have upgraded my hard drive from a 80 gb to a 200 gb by
adding a 120 gb hd. My PC is built by me and i run it on
window xp Professional. The specs on my comp is: Asus
P4P800 mother board, 512 mb ram, 200 gb hd, nvidia Gefore
FX 5200 graphic card. If anyone can solve my problem feel

Check you memory. If you have two or more sticks of
memory remove them one at a time and try to reinstall.

This may arise if a floppy has been left in the drive. If it is not
that, Set the BIOS to boot CD before Hard Disk. Boot the XP CD and,
instead of Setup, take the immediate R for Repair. Assume any password
requested is blank, and TAB over. Assuming your drive letter for CDs is
D: give
COPY D:\i386\ntldr C:\
COPY D:\i386\ntdetect.com C:\

The second just in case that has gone AWOL too
