I have a backup made in XP professional with ntbackup, can I restore it on XP home?

Yes, The NT backup program is on the XP CD, It does not automatically
install with windows. I believe it is in a suooprt or maybe a tools
directory on the cd.
Find it and install the ntbackup.

Insert your XP CD and then browse the CD. You are looking for a folder
called ValueAdd. Click on this then click the Msft folder which is inside
it. You should find NTBackup in the msft folder.

An entire sysem backup? I.E. an ASR backup set? Please provide more information.
