Novell Problem

Joe

I got this from one of our Senior Group Members:

Dear Joe
I have just upgraded from Windows 95 to XP but have been unable to transfer
any of my spreadsheets or databases over because my previous word
processing program was Novell's PerfectWorks Version 2.1, 1995, and I now
have office.

Can anyone head me in the direction where I may be able to get help for her
please?

Boy! Is she probably screwed royally! Probably the only
thing you can do is browse Novell's website and see if
there's something there.

Thanks RH, but I doubt if she will do any good there, she hasn't got the
program, only the files and can't work out how to open them, I though
someone may be able to point me to where I can get a converter for her.

Check out Quick View Plus. It might be able to do it. I've used this
program to read very old word processing files, convert them to .rtf
files, and then open them in MS Word. Perhaps it can do the same with
spreadsheets. Apparently Jasc has sold Quick View Plus to Avantstar.
Here's a link (note that the url wraps in my newsreader and you'll need
to enter it into your browser's addressbar on one line):
