Novell login screen, how to turn it off

John

I just rebuild my W2kPro mail server to a Win2K Server.
Due to one application I use, mail, I need access to a
Novell server. You can't use the MS client that comes with
Win2KS but have to load the latest one from Novell due to
require features.

Having loaded the client everything works fine execpt I
want to disable the initial Novell Login and go back to
the MS login. I'll login to Novell after I'm loged into
the domain and then only when required.

Somewhere I remember there is a way to make the MS login
the default again but I can't remember where to do it.
Does someone else remember?

Thanks
John

Try these registry settings

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\Network Provider\Initial Login]
"Login When NWGina Not Loaded"="No"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"GinaDLL"="MSGINA.DLL"

They will disable the Novell client from loading when the server boots, but
you can still login/map drives to the NW Server
