Novell 4.11 and Windows 2000

I have been using Novell 4.11 and Windows 98/ME machines. I use poledit to
load the polices for the client machines from my f:\public directory and
this setup works fine. Now I would like to use a 2000 machine as a client
and from my understanding you can use gpedit.msc and it stores it in the
Active Directory for a Windows 2000/2003 server. My question is there some
way I can have it work on my Novell Server or will I have to edit each
machines polices and make changes locally if I want to continue using Novell
with the 2000 clients.

Thanks, Ray.

you could have been using (and can continue to use) the freely downloadable
zenworks for desktops 2.0 starter pack for policies (and application
distribution & more). search for zspenu.exe, about 23mb, keep in mind 4.x is
the current version out & 2.0 is eol. Very simple to setup & a dream to help
maintain your machines (win9x/2k/xp & the like).

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you know there is a site that may be of some use. A
lot of people who work with Novell products, and are VERY good with
implementations and troubleshooting, frequent the site. You can find it at:

Thanks Keith, I was messing around with Zenworks but I just discovered today
that it doesn't work with 4.10. Thanks anyway.
Incidently, I tried replying to you but it came back to me.

Ray.
