Sorry for the previous post.

I have more information. The error really
says "NotifyAlert.exe cannot be found" and it occurs
after I have had Outlook Express open for a few minutes.
So I know that it is associate with OE.

Where should the NotifyAlert.exe file be located and if
it has been deleted from my system where can I get a copy?

Tahnks in advance.
 
Hi,

A Dell support file. Start/run msconfig, go to the startup tab and disable
the line that loads it, it is not necessary for normal system operation.
