I am not getting automatic notifications from any of the forums I post in. My
Isp Comcast and I have made no changes and I have kept the boxes checked
'yes' to automatic replies. What could be the problem? My spam filter only
has a yes and a no and I have not changed it. This is the first time in years
this has occured. Thanx for the help.

This does not answer your question. If you post very often or just read
newsgroups a lot...

Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000 is akin to bear skins and stone knives.

Do yourself a favor and setup a real newsreader.

Outlook Express came free with XP.

You will later wonder why you didn't setup OE as your newsreader sooner.

I don't use the web interface to use these newsgroups, so I can't help with
the specific problem. But I can tell you that using the web interface to
read this newsgroup is the slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone method there
is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express,
which comes with Windows. See

Thank you for the replies-they were very helpful.
