Hi, I am using Windows XP SP2. I have 13 "You Have New Unopened Items"
notifications in my system tray and they are all hidden since I did
choose "Always Hide" option in the "Properties". However they do
stay in my System Tray even though I don't really see it unless I
click on the arrow to see all hidden items. But it's still very
annoying to have them there. I have gone through a lot of the posts on
this subject in various Windows XP forums and the only solution I can
find is to change the Registry which I do not want to do it as I do
not want to mess with the Registry. Is there any other way I can make
these notifications disappear? I have no idea what are they for as I
do not have any unopened emails, applications, or files. However I
did enable to show the Desktop option in my Toolbars. If I disable
it, will that help?
Any comments or advice will be much appreciated.
Thank you.
