Notepad won't open any files (PROBLEM WITH XP & NOTEPAD)

I also had a problem with notepad for a month - I lost notepad icon,
notepad also couldn open source in MS Explorer any more etc.
Yesterday I clean viruses from my disk with Sophos Antivirus
(scan-disk function - despite my Sophos InterCheck is in action
permanent, I found 30 viruses!!!). Then I went to www.microsoft.com to
upload windows update and third I went to www.notepad.org and copied
first notepad for XP in directories
1. windows
2. windows/system32
3 windows/system32/dllcache
and first it doesnt help much, so I saved NOTEPAD FOR WINDOWS 95/98 in
all of upon three directories and now it works FINE, even without
restarting computer!!!!!!!!!!!

Good that notepad works again, but if I were you and found 30 viruses, I'd
format the drive and start over clean. That's major infection that is
probably almost impossible to clean correctly 100%. After your format,
install an av program and turn on a firewall before connecting to the
internet.
