Notepad - Unable to view (HTML) source

Hi all

In IE, there is a view function. within the function
there is a subfunction called view source.. when i click
on it .. it suppose to open up notepad and the source
code will be display in the notepad..

Now, the problem is, notepad lanch perfectly .. but there
was nothing display in the notepad..

I've tried using right click view source function .. it
also gives me the same problem...

and one more thing .. the notepad icon looks abnormal ...
is not the usual icon for notepad .. instead displaying
exe icon ...

by the way.. i'm trying to reinstall notepad .. i
coundn't find in the window component .. which i know is
normal.. but if i want to reinstall notepad .. how can i
do it?

any help will be appreciated ..

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, delete all of the files in the Temporary Internet
Files folder.

To do this, follow these steps:
1.. Start Internet Explorer.
2.. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3.. Under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Files.
4.. When the confirmation message appears, click OK two times
