Notepad lost

Hello - I installed SP2 and now for some reason I'm having problems with
Notepad. I get an Open With screen when I try to open txt documents. The
Notepad.exe file is still in my Windows folder. But when I select it through
Browse on the Open With screen, it doesn't appear on the list. How can I set
Notepad back as the default for opening txt. files? Thanks!!

Is notepad.exe corrupted? What happens if you just open it?

If you open a folder and go to Tools->Folder Options->File Types is
there an entry for TXT extensions?
