Not Sending - Outlook 2003

I have 3 computers, 2 running Outlook 2003, 1 running Outlook 2002. I am now
having trouble with one of them running 2003... it won't send email. If I go
in to change accounts and send a test message, it will send and receive fine.
If I hit the Send/Receive button on the toolbar, nothing happens. If I go
into Tools> Options> tab Mail Setup and hit teh Send/Receive button there to
look at teh settings, nothing happens. I tried repairing Office, but it stll
doesn't work. All settings are teh same on this computer as on the other 2
(as far as ports and the SSL box not checked). Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated.

Do you have any type of internet security related product installed?
(basically looking for proxy/isa clients, antivirus, antispam, desktop
firewall, .etc that could intercept POP3/IMAP/SMTP calls.)

ps - windows xp sp2 built-in firewall doesn't stop outbound traffic.

We do have Norton Internet Security installed. Could that cause the
Send/Receive settings button to be inactive in the Mail Setup tab?

Yes since it includes a firewall that could be blocking the requests to use
the network. In any event, if you have applied SP1 for Office/Outlook 2003,
you can enable diagnostic logging (link below) and see if Outlook is making
a connection to the server.

ps - if you are confused about reading the OPMLog file, you can post it here
and I'll look at it.

One that is known to cause this at this time of testing is the new
MS-Antispyware Beta

Check and see if you have Outlook scheduled to send, if so, disable the
schedule. Also check and see if the mailbox quota is not over the limit.

Thanks for letting me know. (and here i thought the beta only caused
outlook to crash every now and again)
