not recieving all of my email?

well, i hit send and recieve on microsoft outlook. it looks like i recieve
the mail in my inbox then it moves. so naturally i thought well, it must be
moved to the junk email, but it is not there. so i looked in my deleted
messages and it is not there either. where is it going?
