not loading at startup

When I first installed MS Antispyware, the program icon
installed on my tray whenever an loaded at startup.
However it no longer does. The file that is in my
startup configuration is gcasServ.exe, but since the icon
doesn't appearin my systray I have to run it manually.

I can't find an option to choose so this program starts
up when Windows boots.

Give this a try:
Go to Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. Click Microsoft AntiSpyware
and click Change. Click Next, and then click Update.

Since installing WinXP SP2, it would nott auto start even
though it was checked to do so. Did as you suggested and
it is now starting with windows.

I am also having this problem.

1) Start the program
2) Settings
3) Click Real Time Protection graphic button (left)
here you can click the startup loading option
4) Click General graphic icon (left)
make sure the hide icon in system tray is NOT checked

Unfortunately, I am still having this problem despite the
aformentioned remedies. Task manager shows that the
processes for the program are running, yet no icon in the
system tray!

I also need help

What do you want to do specifically? Hide the icon in the system tray or
disable the Microsoft AntiSpyware process?
