Not displaying "details" on network drives

I just upgraded a number of PCs to XP from Win2k. Now I am getting complaints
that they cannot view all of details (when you hover over the file, the
pop-up window?) of Office files on our network drives. If I copy the files to
the local machine, I can see all the details perfectly. One of our users who
has Win2k can still see the details on the network.

Any ideas?
