Until about 2 months ago, when I was looking for a file over my network
(either using Windows Explorer or the open command in a program such as
Word), when I let the mouse hover over a file name, it would show me file
information including the type of file, size and date/time modified. Now it
only shows the type and size. Is there a way to get it to also show me the
date/time modified again?
I know I can click on details and have the entire list displayed that
way, but I prefer to look at my files in list view. Also, if I'm looking at
a file that's not over the network, residing on one of my fiixed drives, I
can still see all of that information. It's not a setting on the other
computer in the network, because when I go to that one, I get the same
results. If I'm am physically at that computer, I can see the date/time
stamp on mouse hover of files saved locally, but not on another computer's
files over the network.
Thanks for any ideas!
