not accessible disk drives

My computer is having issues... When I ask it to run my
floppy, cd rom and my cd writer drives, it tells me that
that a: is not accessible and the same for the other two
drives. I have tried to trouble shoot and my computer
says the drives are working properly, and my cr rom will
play an audio disk. Does anyone know what my problem may
be??

That particular combo seems to point to the Norton anti-virus being the
cause. Take a look at the Symantec(Norton) web site for resolution.
