not accepting correct user name & password

whenever i try to send or receive with ol2003,get prompted to input my user
name and password,each time says is wrong and will not connect upto
server,however when testing settings these have been received ,i have checked
on my isp webmail,this is getting really frustrating please help.
and yes i have checked all connection details with my ISP and even reset my
password and user still no change.This all started after having to reformat
and re-install, before that it was all working fine
