Not Able to have More than one Instance of IE6 open

After being away for 5 days My instance of XP Pro on my PC now only allows me to have one instance of IE open. When I click on the icon it opens a second IE window then closes the other open one. I have never seen this before and Nobody was logged into my profile. Any one know of any automatic updates that might have updated this without my knowledge or had any similiar problems?

Do you have Yahoo companion. It may be the cause.
